Trinity is pleased to offer many areas of ministries that encourage parishioners to take an active role in the worship and fellowship of our church family, and in outreach to the community.
WORSHIP
Altar Guild
A dedicated group that works to prepare the altar for the many worship services found here.
Lay Readers
This ministry offers a very special chance for the men and women of the Parish to assist the clergy at the Eucharist by administering the chalice, reading the lessons, and leading the congregation in prayers and the Creed. They may also officiate at Morning and Evening Prayer.
Eucharistic Visitsor
A very special group of people who take the Sacraments to the sick and shut-ins.
Acolytes
The ministry of acolytes is open to anyone nine years and older who wishes to serve by carrying the cross, being flag bearers, and assisting with the Liturgy at the altar.
Ushers/Greeters
In many ways this is one of our most important ministries, as these persons are the first contact for visitors and newcomers. In addition to welcoming, they also take up the offering, present the elements to be offered at the altar, and assist the congregation to receive communion.
PASTORAL CARE
Stephen Ministry
A group of lay persons who are specially trained to help others who are in crisis such as grief, separation/divorce, drug abuse, hospitalization, AIDS, illness, job loss, loneliness, family problems, retirement, depression, and other adversities. Assignments of Stephen Ministers are available through the Rector.
MUSIC

Traditional Choir
A very dedicated group of volunteers who provide traditional music and hymns for the 11:15 am service on Sundays, as well as holidays and special occasions. The ministry of music is a rewarding experience to those who provide our choral setting.
Contemporary Choir
A very dedicated group of volunteers who enjoy singing. This choir provides contemporary music and hymns for the 9:00 am service on Sunday.
Youth Choir
A choir open to youth and teens. Trinity's youth choir also provides the music for the 9:00 am service as well as special occasions.
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
Trinity's Christian Education programs are an integral part of our parish life.
Classes:
We offer a variety of classes for all ages both on Sunday mornings and throughout the week. The classes are printed in the bulletin each week, or you can call the office to receive more information.
EVANGELISM
Newcomer Committee
This group strives to contact every visitor or newcomer with a telephone call, letter or personal visitation with welcome packet.
Cursillo
A Diocesan sponsored program of Christian renewal which begins with a weekend of instruction, music and fun which fosters leadership, evangelism and a deeper spiritual life.
Happening
This program of renewal is similar to Cursillo, but is focused on high school students in grades 10 -12.
Discovery Weekend
A weekend spent with parish members at Trinity discovering one's relationship with Christ. Personal growth and commitment as well as a sense of Christian community are fostered.
OUTREACH
Early Learning Center
This is Trinity's major outreach. It offers a pre-school and kindergarten education in a loving Christian environment.
St. Francis House
A ministry that offers a soup kitchen, emergency shelter, migrant worker program, clothing replacement and emergency assistance. Trinity is committed to provide financial support and a hot lunch once per month. Several parishioners have served on the board.
St. Gerard House
A program which offers shelter and counseling to young pregnant women. In additio,n classes are offered to work toward high school diplomas. This outreach is supported through contributions from the women of St. Catherine's Guild (ECW).
Betty Griffin House
A shelter home for battered women and their children. This outreach program is supported through the contributions of the St. Catherine's Guild.
Episcopal Relief and Development
The Global Outreach Ministry of the Episcopal Church. Trinity supports ERD through individual donations given during the annual appeal and throughout the year. See the ERD Website at ERD.
Habitat for Humanity
Trinity supports the local chapter through financial contributions and prayer. Trinity parishioners also help to build Habitat houses.
EPISCOPAL CHURCH WOMEN (ECW)

This women's guild operates Trinity's Thrift Shop to support their outreach ministry. St. Catherine's meets the third Monday of each month at 10:30 am.
EPISCOPAL YOUTH
At Trinity, we have many programs for our young people.
Youth Club: 4th & 5th grades
JEYC: Junior Episcopal Youth Community (middle school)
SEYC: Senior Youth Community (high school)

PARISH LIFE
Daughters of the King {DOK}
A group of women committed to prayer and service. A three month training program prior to initiation is required.
Jr. Daughters of the King
This program allows teenagers to share in the understandings brought about through prayer and service. They each have a senior Daughter of the King as a mentor.
Brotherhood of St. Andrew
A group of men, committed to prayer, study and service.
Sunday Coffee Hour
A time of fellowship and refreshments after each service.
Monthly Breakfast
An outstanding breakfast prepared on the first Sunday of each month by a group of volunteers. This is an excellent opportunity for fellowship.
Foyer Groups
Groups of 8 - 10 people, made up of couples and singles, who meet once a month for dinner and fellowship. Groups change every 4 - 6 months.
Holy Folders
A group of women who fold the bulletins for worship services and prepare church mailings.
Docents
This group of parishioners welcomes visitors to the church, offers a tour and answers questions about the church building and its history.
Landscape Committee
A group of dedicated gardeners who maintain and beautify the church grounds.
Caring Callers
These parishioners deliver flowers and call on home bound or hospitalized members on Mondays. Each team is only responsible for one Monday a month.
Prayer Group
A group of parishioners who meet regularly to pray for concerns brought to them.
Prayer Chain
A telephone network which responds quickly to prayer requests.
